There has been a radio club in Aberkenfig for 20+ years previously known as the “Mid Glamorgan Amateur Radio group” which ceased operation in 2013. the current club became Aberkenfig Radio Club on the 22nd of August 2013 and now known as Aberkenfig & District Amateur Radio Club. We have thrived ever since and are always looking to advance Amateur Radio in the area and help and assist people to gain the qualifications needed to enjoy the hobby we all love to enjoy.
 

As of the 14th October 2021, we have moved our venue to the Tondu Railway Canteen Tondu
